Nail trends come and go but there’s one style that’s proved to be an enduring trend. In between neon, cow print and tortoise shell manis there’s been a resurgence of the French manicure dominating our Instagram feeds. The classic French mani (clear-pinkish base and white tips) that we last saw popularized in the early 00s is coming back with an updated twist.
Spotted on everyone from Beyoncé to Bella Hadid, the new French mani is incorporating other nail trends like gradient and neon, using interesting shapes, bold color combos, nail art, glitter and more. Mix and match trends, pair a new shape with a Fall color or the classic with Halloween nail art, what better way to welcome Fall than with a mani that has it all?
Considering dipping a finger into nail art or bored with your go-to nude? There’s nothing better than the subtle French mani with a twist and you can still use Essie’s Ballet Slippers if you feel inclined. We’ve scoured the internet for inspiration you can bring to your next nail appointment.
