Just in case you have missed the memo (and by that we mean ALL the extensive media coverage) Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are in South Africa as part of their tour of the continent

Meghan’s style game – and multiple outfit changes – has been getting loads of attention, but her beauty looks? Not so much, but just because Meghan Markle’s hair looks are understated doesn’t mean that we don’t want to copy them all. Immediately.

When it comes to her makeup, she tends to keep things natural and has her favourite brands and products she swears by to keep her looking fresh. And it’s no different when it comes to her hair. Here are the three hairstyles that are dominating their SA trip (plus three products she swears by to achieve them).

This look – which Meg sported on Heritage Day – is effortless yet polished and, unless you were born with hair like Meghan Markle’s, you will probably need to use a hairdryer to yield similar results. After blowdrying your hair, use curling tongs (or your straightener) to create some soft waves for a more tousled look. Make sure to use heat protectant spray before getting stuck in with the heat tools to prevent damage, and seal the edges with a luxurious oil for a healthy, vibrant finish. A flower is an optional extra.
2. The low bun

Meghan wore this sleek low bun to the Woodstock Exchange in Cape Town when she went to meet female entrepreneurs (and also when she introduced her son to Archbishop Tutu, which is now officially the cutest moment in history). This look brings plenty of glam without being fussy. To recreate it, find and separate your middle path, tie or pin your hair into a low bun, and set either with a lightweight setting mist or hair oil to keep every hair in place while bringing all the glossy shine.

Meghan Markle’s classic ponytail was on show when the royal couple visited the Justice Desk Project on their first day out-and-about in Mzansi. Much like the bun, this low ponytail manages to be both casual and classy, and it can also be done in the same way, by finding your middle path (what even are side paths anymore?) and sectioning your hair in half, and then gathering it up into a pony. Want a bit of volume in it? Add some texturising spray to the ponytail and then sleek up the sides with some hair oil or smoothing lotion, and watch your hair game elevate to heights worthy of Buckingham Palace.
