Summer 2021 - The Jilly Box Subscription
I'm a big fan of Jillian Harris, so when she announced last year that she was starting a subscription box, I was so excited! The box started with the Winter 2019 box and sadly, I was not one of the lucky originals who won a subscription spot, so I sign up every season and hope to get picked for a lottery spot!

The Jilly Box is a quarterly seasonal subscription box - the products within the box include some of Jillian’s (and Team Jilly’s!) favourite items (and brands) from home decor, fashion, bath and beauty, health and wellness, accessories perfect for each season. Some of the items included will be custom designed exclusively for the Jilly Box. The Jilly Box really focuses on including products from small, local businesses while being ethically sourced and inclusive. They also focus on reducing plastic waste and packaging - the big boxes can be turned inside out and reused! Also, they try to include Canadian, woman owned brands, and this box also includes 3 LGBTQ+, BIPOC and Minority owned brands!
The Jilly Box is $199 CAN quarterly + taxes and includes free shipping to Canada and the U.S. And, while this is on the pricier end for a subscription box, it will contain at least $400 worth of products each season! The box is shipped out prior to the start of each season - so the Fall box shipped in mid-August, the Winter box will ship in mid-November, the Spring box will ship in mid-February, and the Summer box will ship mid-May!
The box always includes a little booklet that includes information about each product, recipes, interviews with makers and more! Here is a closer look at all the products in the Summer 2021 Jilly Box:
Tok Beauty Eyes That Tok Mascara ~ $29.00 CAN. A plant-based formula, with a silicone wand to comb every lash, Eyes That TOK Mascara gives your lashes volume and length while conditioning and strengthening your natural lashes to promote healthy lash growth. Using ingredients like horsetail plant to strengthen your lashes, pea protein to prevent breakage, and bayberry wax for an all day water-resistant hold, this everyday mascara will have your lashes looking long and full.
I was so excited to see Tok Beauty in this box - they are a Calgary brand and I have been wanting to try them for quite a while, so I'm very excited to try this out. It is a mascara that I've heard Jillian Harris loves this formula, so I can't wait to see if it works for me!
Pura Botanicals Overnight Watermelon Mask ~ $79.00 CAN. The Pura Botanicals Overnight Watermelon Mask is a creamy, soft pink concoction luxuriously handcrafted with all-natural silk peptides and watermelon extract, which is high in skin-brightening Vitamin C and amino acids. Use this decadent overnight mask to gently remove dead skin cells, improving the skin’s texture, and enhancing a youthful complexion. Neroli improves the skin’s elasticity and stimulates cell renewal. Aloe Vera, chamomile and witch hazel all soothe, calm and nourish the skin, leaving it feeling supple and hydrated.
This is another Alberta brand - these products are handmade in Edmonton. This has a super creamy texture and smells lovely! I've used another brands watermelon night mask before and loved it, so I'm excited to try this one out (and, it came at the perfect time because I needed a new night cream!)
Elucx Zen Bath & Body Oil ~ 59 ml for $25.00 CAN. Why {ZEN}? The ingredients and scents from this line are inspired by the Asian cultures.
This is combination of Race Bran Oil, Camellia Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Rosehip Oil and a blend of essential oils: Jasmine Absolute, Sandalwood, Vanilla. You can apply this to the body right after a bath or use it as a bath oil and pour a little right in!
Jardines Domaine The Jilly Road Trip Dress in Wandering White ~ $96.00 CAN. This 100% cotton, lightweight french terry baby doll dress with flutter sleeves, is perfect for an afternoon road trip! Machine wash on gentle cycle. Tumble dry low or lay flat to dry. Do not hang to dry.
This isn't released online, but is being released on June 10th if you are interested! This is an oversized dress and I was really worried how it would fit, but it's super cute and I like the length. I wish I got the green instead of white, but it was sold out by the time I got selected for a box! I really like this - it's light and comfy and a perfect Summer dress!
Sugarjoy Candy Box Duo ~ $20.00 CAN. Sugarjoy Sour Watermelon and Sour Peach Lips. Two of everyone's favourite sweet treats sharing one charming and perfectly giftable box.
I like candy - both of these are yummy, sour candies aren't my favourite (the watermelons are super good though!) This comes with two 4 oz bags of candy!
Samara The Jillian Harris Makeup Case ~ $105.00 CAN. The Samara x Jillian Harris Makeup Case is a multi-purpose travel cosmetic bag, that can fit your entire skincare routine (and more). With a free interior compartment, an array of mesh open-top pockets and a zippered mesh pocket, each of your makeup brushes and skincare bottles will have their own spot.
This is a really nice, sturdy makeup case - this is perfect for travelling anywhere as it's really big, and fits so much in it! It's made out of vegan leather and it will be perfect for my Summer road trips *fingers crossed that happens!

This is a nice big tote bag and it's so cute - it is actually the perfect size for car rides and fitting all the stuff we need in there or just longer outings! I will certainly get a lot of use out this! (I do wish this came with a zipper, but it does work to back everything in or stack people up of the top!)
Overall, I'm really happy with this Jilly Box - it feels very Summer, and also lots of beauty products which I love! While the box is pretty indulgent at $200 a quarter, but this box came with a value of $429.00 CAN. Some of the products were specifically designed with Jillian Harris for this box and I always think that it adds a nice touch! I like the mix of products and will use everything in this box!
